Wagmist is a small U.S. shop with one job: getting dog smell out of the fabric it lives in, without perfuming the whole house to do it.
Who's behind it
Hi — I'm Jojo. I started Wagmist because every product for dog smell falls into one of two buckets. The candles, plug-ins and room sprays cover the smell for an hour and then it's back, with a layer of vanilla on top. The enzyme cleaners actually work, but they come in a trigger bottle that soaks one patch of cushion at a time and leaves you wiping. The nano-mist sprayer is the first thing I found that does the real chemistry at the speed of a room spray, and once it was in the house I wanted it to be easy for other dog people to buy.
How they get chosen
- One product, done properly. The shelf is a sprayer and the refills that keep it going. No twelve-flavour fragrance range, no gadgets bolted on to make the cart bigger.
- Every page says what it is not. It won't get a set-in urine stain out of a carpet pad, it isn't a disinfectant, and it doesn't stop a dog smelling like a dog. It gets the smell out of the sofa. You should know that before you order, not after.
- Tested in a house with a dog in it. A large, shedding, occasionally wet one. If a bottle stops working on our own sofa, it doesn't stay on the shelf.
